Mobile payment solution

The customer need

Boticinal is a group of pharmacies present throughout France. A forerunner in the development of XXL pharmacies, Boticinal is constantly developing its concept around innovative retail practices.

The largest parapharmacy in France is under the Boticinal banner and is located in the La Défense district of Paris. Cashing out is a major challenge for the brand, but also and above all for its customers. With 43 checkout points, there are still many bottlenecks and waiting times during busy periods.

To innovate and provide an answer to the problem of waiting at the checkout, Boticinal asked Keyneosoft to equip its parapharmacy salespeople with a mobile payment solution.

The solution provided by Keyneosoft

Keyneosoft, editor and integrator of solutions for the new retail sector, has taken up the challenge with its new generation cashiering solution. 

We have deployed our mobile payment solution KEYPOS to the salesmen of the drugstore department. This solution is connected via our Keybuild platform to Boticinal’s dispensary management software for the product catalog, promotions and sales actions. We also helped the teams to get used to the solution.

How does it work?

We have deployed our mobile payment solution KEYPOS to the salesmen of the drugstore department. This solution is connected via our Keybuild platform to Boticinal’s dispensary management software for the product catalog, promotions and sales actions. We also helped the teams to get used to the solution.

The salesman has an embedded solution on a mobile terminal (PAX A920 Pro) with integrated laser scanner.

The scanned products are added to the basket which is valued in real time taking into account the promotions of the moment set up in the back office of the KEYPOS solution.

Payment is made by credit card with the Nepting payment application integrated into the PAX which has its own card reader.

The receipt and the CB invoice are printed via the printer integrated in the PAX, or sent to the customer by email in a dematerialized way.

This way, the salesperson is autonomous, the sales cycle is done on the shelf, without going through the traditional collection points. This is a plus for the customer who does not have to wait, and for the store which improves the customer experience.
